we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff who went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. amal's culinary skills impressed us with delicious meals and delightful barbecue treats. guided tours and jeep safaris added excitement to our trip, showcasing the beautiful surroundings. the mud house concept provided a unique and cozy atmosphere, perfect for a peaceful escape.

Deshadan in Kanthalloor offers a peaceful retreat with stunning mountain views and delicious BBQ food. the Superior Mountain View room is spacious with modern amenities and a private balcony. the staff is friendly, helpful, and organizes local tours efficiently. the best time to visit is from August to February for ideal weather and misty ambiance.
No privacy between rooms; loud music played by adjacent guests.

During my Xmas stay, the location was peaceful and perfect for a getaway. the staff, especially Amal, was very accommodating and organized fantastic tours and trekking opportunities. the food, especially the BBQ dishes, was delicious, and the rooms were spacious with excellent views.
The lack of privacy between rooms was a downside, as neighboring guests playing loud music late at night disrupted our stay. some rooms lacked comfortable seating on the balcony, which could be improved for a more relaxing experience.
